Making a Difference... Together
In the past, the revered Asian elephant carried the Kings of Siam and were used to intimidate the enemy on the battleground. More recently, they were trained to be bulldozers, and forced to clear their jungle habitat. Today, these giants struggle to find the basic necessities of life as protected land diminishes and more are captured to become domestic working elephants. Now, their plight falls mainly on deaf ears.
The Save Elephant Foundation works hard to ensure that the endangered Asian elephant has a brighter future, through its numerous ongoing projects, such as Elephant Nature Park, Forest Restoration, Surin Project, Journey to Freedom, and Jumbo Express, just to name a few.
