Mee Boon enjoying here freedom with Lucky

Mee Boon had a fun time today playing football with her mahout. Both eyes blind is not a handicap for living at ENP. When we rescued Mee Boon, we introduced her to a couple of elephants whom we thought might welcome her, and with friendship become her eyes, caring for her. But she showed no interest in elephants until we introduced her to Lucky, who is also blind and had recently lost her best friend, Bua Loy.

Mee Boon and Lucky became friends overnight. Beginning their friendship in a double shelter, we eventually took out the barrier between them as they never wanted to be apart. Every day it can be seen how well they look after each other, talking and touching each other. Their love heals any wounds from their past, and light surrounds their beautiful souls, guiding their every step. We are so happy for them.
